STUDENT lETTINGS Canterbury - Advice

- When you rent a property the rental agreement will specify how much you need to pay in rent and also the utilities
- Students must maintain the premisies keeping every part of the property clean and tidy. This includes disposing of garbage properly.
- Students must use all appliances (supplied by the landlord) in a careful and responsible manner, this includes electrical, gas, heating, plumbing and any other equipment supplied. Maintenance of these appliances is also required and students should check their rental agreement .
- Damage to the property either intentional or through carelessness will be paid for by the student.
- Students should consider other people around them (e.g neighbours) and keep any noise to an acceptable level.
- Students MUST leave the property in the same condition as when they moved in. Any damage must be paid for before handing the property back.
